The Spider-Man movies were directed by Sam Raimi and the main character Spidey was portrayed by Tobey Maguire, but thanks to Sony Pictures and Sam Raimi we might not get to see a Spider-Man 4 that will continue as a sequel to the last 3 Spidey movies. Instead it will be a story that “focuses on a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises“, they will take on a script by James Vanderbilt with a new cast. It’s not a for sure thing just yet, but Rachel McAdams has spoken to Spiderman 4 producers, and she could get the role of  Black Cat, who is a villain in the Marvel universe. Rachel is one of their favorite actress for the role, and we agree, she’s played a villain before in Mean Girls, and she’s obviously smokin hott. There will be no problem making her look good in some tight latex furry outfit. A while back there were rumors Lizard man would be a villain in the fourth movie, but we’re not sure how that’s gonna work. Now if they could only replace Mary-Jane with anyone else, we’ll take anyone, really.

We believe it is official Natalie Portman, will play Jane Foster in the Marvel movie Thor. The character will be the female lead, and as we blogged earlier Chris Hemsworth will play the main character Thor. Jane’s character is a beautiful woman who is Thor’s first love, in the comic book series. There were reports that Jessica Biel was considered for the part, but well they decided to go with Natalie. It must be her good looks, they always seem to get in the way of her career, not our words Jess’s words. Another actor who’s been chosen to play a character is Tom Hiddleston, he will play Loki who is sometimes Thor’s enemy.

There are many new Marvel movies coming out, but it’s always hard finding actors to fill in the shoes of these comic book characters. Chris Hemsworth who most recently starred as George Kirk in Star Trek, has been signed on to play Thor. Chris has more new movies to come. Some other hotties who have also signed on to play Marvel super heroes Scarlett Johansson will be Black Widow in the upcoming Iron Man 2, following her hubbies footsteps Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool. Another one we mentioned in a previous blog is Mickey Rourke as Whiplash.
